HE National Construction Council (NCC)’s employees join other workers in the world to celebrate Workers Day (May Day) and send a message to Tanzanians to follow advices which are given to them by building experts, for their benefit and that of the nation.

Every First day of May workers in the world commemorate their day in various ways and each country has its theme. This year’s Workers Day slogan as it reads in Kiswahili is: Hali Bora, Mishahara Juu, Kazi iendelee.

NCC like other workers in Dar es Salaam, celebrates the day by staging legal demonstration from the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) in Temeke District to Uhuru Stadium in the same City.

The best NCC worker this year who was found after a voting process is Miss Mallewo, Anitha, a Quantity Surveyor. She joins the celebrations and marked her day by dancing during the demonstrations.
