COURSE ON MANAGEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION VARIATIONS, CLAIMS AND DISPUTES
The National Construction Council is organizing a five (5) days course (24th to 28th March 2025) on Management of Construction Claims and Variations to be held in ARUSHA.
Objective: The course on Management of Variations, Claims and Disputes in Construction Projects is aimed to impart participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to successful manage construction projects. By exploring industry best practices, legal frameworks, and practical strategies, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in managing variations, claims and disputes in construction projects. Through interactive sessions, case studies, and real-life examples, we aim to empower professionals in the construction industry to proactively identify, assess, and manage variations to ensure successful project delivery within budget and time constraints. Additionally, participants will learn how to navigate the claims process, from documentation and assessment to negotiation and resolution, ultimately minimizing disputes and optimizing project outcomes. This course is designed to enhance participants' expertise and confidence in handling variations and claims, consequently avoiding disputes and enabling them to contribute effectively to the overall success of construction projects.

Resolutions Venue: The course will be conducted at POINT ZONE RESORT- ARUSHA Mianzini Road Duration: The course will run for five days from 24th to 28th March 2025. Each day the course will start at 8.30 am.
Participation: The course is open to anyone interested in acquiring or sharpening their skills in administration of construction contracts including Architects, Engineers, Estate Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Lawyers, Contractors, Procurement Officers, Mediators, Arbitrators and Adjudicators, Project Managers, Public and Private Clients and other professionals.
Course Fee: TShs. 1,200,000.00 will be charged per participant. The fee will cover expenses for lunch, mid-break refreshments and course notes. Participants should make own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Payments should be made through the NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COUNCIL NMB account via payment control number to be issued by our Accounts Section. Early booking and confirmation are essential.
